As a child Peggy painted many commissioned works, mostly portraits from photos. She was selling originals before the age of 18, including commissions for restoring old black and white photos then adding color.

Peggy's oil paintings encompass a range of styles including realism, impressionism, and abstract.    Her most recent work is a series of whimsical portraits of people with penguins.

Peggy has painted commissioned oil portraits of people and their pets for about 40 years. Here's a good example - - the famous U.S. Racing Hall of Fame racehorse trainer , D. Wayne Lukas, with his prized filly LandaLucy. (Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landaluce)
